STRINGS FOR LOVE STORY

SERVE. RECEIVE. REPEAT.

My family and I have been involved in the tennis world since I was placed in the doubles alley to play "family" doubles at age 5.  Despite this inauspicious beginning, I eventually went on to play at the University of Texas and experienced the thrill of winning two National Championships with our amazing teams.  Now I have 3 daughters that all play and a husband who can warm them all up and keeps us up to date on all the pro tournaments.

While driving after a match one day, I started thinking what happened to all the used tennis string. After researching the topic I found that during one Open tournament, over 33 miles of string are used and none of this can be recycled.  I experimented with the string and designed these lightweight, fun bracelets made out of the used string.

Not only are you helping the environment by purchasing a bracelet, saving it from becoming more landfill, but you   get to have a memento from one of your favorite pros that they have actually played with in matches.  And with each bracelet purchased, you are contributing to a charity of either the pro's choice or the tournament's choice.

So help us to:

SERVE: the charities these pros and tournaments support when you

RECEIVE: your Strings for Love bracelet made of the ATP and WTA pros' strings and

REPEAT: the use of the strings by recycling them, saving them from becoming landfill.

Thank you! - Ashley Wernli
